The Friends of the Fobes Memorial Library, Inc. is a private, non-profit volunteer organization that aims to promote and help support the library and its programs. We are guided by the Director of the Library and the Trustees of the Library in its needs and are proud to be of service to this worthy institution.
The Friends of the Fobes Memorial Library try to meet four times a year, usually once each season, to review our goals, offer ideas, and act in the best interests of the library. We organize fundraisers, sponsor programs, and support the library in any way that we can. Officers are elected every two years and consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Volunteers work under the direction of the Library Director. All volunteers who work directly with children need a CORI check.
We always welcome new members to our meetings! Our next meeting has not yet been scheduled – stay tuned!
